The Old Man Williams series shown here consists of several facial carvings made many years ago on stumps and dead snags around Williams Creek Reservoir, which is located in the San Juan National Forest in Southwest Colorado. The craftsman is unknown, but they were certainly skilled at making the carvings come alive and last many decades.
